Nopeway is a daily racing game at nopeway.com and in the Nopeway apps for iOS and Android, made and run by Softuki ("we"). This page explains what we collect and why. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Your account. When you log in, our login provider gives us an account id, plus your name and email if you log in that way. We show a nickname on leaderboards, which you can change.
• Your runs. For each finished run we store the replay (your inputs, not a video), the time, the day and the input type (keyboard or touch), to check the time and rank it.
• On your device. The game keeps settings, ships and best times in your browser's local storage (the app's storage in the apps) so it works fast. This isn't used for tracking.
• Usage analytics. We record which pages you open and game events (races started and finished, shares, logins), plus error reports and, on the website, session recordings of how the page is used (typed text is masked), to improve the game. Analytics keep an id in your browser's storage and cookies (the app's storage in the apps); after you log in, events are linked to your account and email.
• Server logs. Our web server keeps standard logs (IP address, time, page) for security and abuse prevention, kept for a short time.

Who processes data for us

• Auth0 (Okta): login and account identity.
• Amazon Web Services: hosting of the website, the game server and its database (United States).
• PostHog: usage analytics, error reports and, on the website, session recordings (EU data region).
• Google AdSense: ads. Ad breaks only for players without Pro; anyone may choose to watch an ad for a small reward. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time.
• RevenueCat and Stripe: payments, if you buy Pro. We never see your card number.

We don't sell your data.

Ads and cookies

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).

Legal basis (EEA/UK)

Running your account and leaderboards: performance of the service you asked for. Security logs: legitimate interest. Analytics cookies and personalised ads: your consent.

Deleting your data

Go to Delete your account (the game's You tab → Delete account leads there too). That removes your account, runs and leaderboard entries from our database; the page lists what's deleted and what stays. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or for deletion.

Children

Nopeway isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Big changes will be announced in the game.
