FAQ

Is Nopeway free?
Yes. Today's track, unlimited tries, friends' race links and the leaderboards are free. Nopeway Pro (coming soon) adds past tracks, racing the bot and the day's #1, and no ad breaks (optional ads for a small reward stay).
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like icon.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes: ◀ ▶ buttons to change lane, tap the other half of the screen to jump. Phones get their own leaderboard, since touch plays differently from a keyboard.
Is there an easier mode? A harder one?
Yes, both. Easy stops you sliding off the sides of the road. Hard is the same as Medium, only faster. Each has its own leaderboard, so times from different levels are never mixed.
When does the track change?
Every day at midnight UTC. Everyone races the same track on the same day.
Why do I have to log in?
Your first race needs no account. After that, an account keeps your times, your ships and your place on the leaderboard, on every device. You can log in with Google, Apple or email, and you can delete your account at any time.
How are times checked?
The game records only your inputs. The server replays them through the exact same simulation, so a time only counts if the replay really finishes in that time.
What is par?
The time of a perfect run, found by a solver bot that tries every line through the track.
How do race links work?
A race link carries your whole run. Whoever opens it races your ghost on the same track.
Can I play old tracks?
The archive lists every past day with its leaderboard. Racing past tracks is part of Nopeway Pro (coming soon). A friend's race link always opens, whatever the day.
I found a bug or have an idea.
Great, please tell me.
